My birthday is later this month, on the 24th. So, as my stove was dying a slow death I talked to the folks to see if they'd be interested in getting me a new (inexpensive) stove for my birthday. And lo and behold, I have a new stove! Its a basic Magic Chef stove-and-oven unit, no frills. But that's all I need. :) Now I have to get used to the broiler-drawer thing...

Oh, and the cleansing hath begun! Eek.
