Bleagh.

Well, I either have a mild cold or something has kicked my allergies into overdrive. As I feel otherwise fine, I suspect its the allergies. Furthermore, I think I knwo what the trigger was- I have one of those little glade scent-things that plugs into a wall socket and heats a gel to produce a scent; previously, it was an apple-cinnamon scent. I tried today a new fragrance, supposedly meant to smell like fresh laundry. What is actually smells like is fabric softener...

A scent that sets my allergies off, including a minor skin reaction (sensitivity). So, I've ditched that gel-pack, and put in an apple cinnamon one. Now I just have t owait for that crap to get out of the air. :P

Other than that, yesterday evening I went out with [livejournal.com profile] feezlekahn to get him a birthday present. Also along was [livejournal.com profile] zxizaraxii. Of course, I ended up getting stuff for myself too, a bunch of new movies. One of these is of particular interest- its a sequel to an old giant monster flick called 'Guilala' that I've been trying to find for years! Now maybe they'll release the original to DVD so we can revel in its devastating badness... ;)

Home Again, Home Again...

And Lady's back from the vet, and is just fine. I, however, feel dizzy and blah. Yay allergies and lack of sleep! :P

Nightshift!

Okay, I'm at work, and online. My allergies (I hope- I do NOT want a cold right now) just kicked my butt with sneezing and such, but thart seems to have calmed down for now. Either Saturday or Sunday will be the trip to the Carpenter Nature Center for their Applefest- so far, [livejournal.com profile] ataramos is tagging along- anyone else?

Tomorrow morning is groceries, and later on I'll be ordering my airline tickets for MFF. I WILL be there, especially since I'm getting overtime for it and other cash-issues. As to other things, stuff seems stabilized so far. With luck that'll last.

Seeing as the Nature Center is right on the St. Croix I'm gonna bring the camera and tripod and see what I can get photowise. :)
