Cookin' Again!

Okay, I made Swedish meatballs and mashed potatos again. The recipe is here ( http://sorien.livejournal.com/43765.html ) But use two cans of water in the soup for the gravy (note that its Campbells Cream of Mushroom that I use), and add about 6 teaspoons of olive oil to the blend for the meatballs. They came our REAL good. :)

My recipe is a little different

3# hamburger
1.5# pork sausage
1 lrg onion chopped
5 eggs
10 slices bread cubed or processed into crumbs
1 pkg onion soup mix
3 tbl celery flake
2 tbl dried parsley
1 tsp ground sage
salt and pepper to taste
if wanted - 1 tsp garlic powder

form into balls and brown - place in roaster

gravy -
1 lrg can cream of chicken
2 lrg cans cream of mushroom
1 pkg onion soup mix
16oz sour cream
drippings from pan after browning meatballs - pour over meatballs in roaster pan, cover and
bake at 350 for 45 minutes

served with mashed taters and/or buttered egg noodles

Just made that on saturday. I make my meatballs on the larger side, but size them to your liking
