Taxes...

WOOT!!!

$1700 back from Federal, $455 back from State, $170 back from ptoperty tax, and that'll arrive in June! Yippee!

I've got 'em going over last year's return now, and from the signs I'll likely see another $500+ from that! If I do... I'll take the two years before THAT in!

Whee!

MFF is paid for. So is (likely) a new printer, and what little I owe on the credit card... And maybe even a new laptop. Rockin'. :)

You may want to consider whether spending $200 on a printer is worth it for the amount of printing you do. You could usually hit Kinko's and print stuff for a couple of bucks if we're not around, which would likely still be cheaper than buying and maintaining a printer (most consumer-level printers really are designed to fail within a year or two it seems :P). Your printer's been out of commission for quite a while, so it might be a good idea to think over how often that's genuinely been a problem and whether buying a new one is worth the cost. Paying the credit card is always a good idea, of course.

I wasn't referring to any specific incident. In the time I've known you (11 and change years now), you've often had money troubles, which seem to have been getting worse lately. I'm not saying 'don't complain', I'm just trying to help you get to where complaining is not necessary.

Understood. As to the printer, I've had a lot of stuff I've WANTED to print, but with no printer I just put it off instead of bugging people. I'm aiming for an HP this time, because the problems I've had all stem from the damned print head clogging up and killing it- HP's have the print structure built into each cartridge rather than the printer body, so you get a new print-head with each cartridge.
