I woke hellishly early as seems to be usual for a con, and fooled around on the net for a while on the laptop, down in the hotel lobby. I'd gone there to not wake everyone else in the room. I had a nice talk with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cuprohastes for a while, also chatting with derechodragon who'd bailed from the con yesterday. While doing this, I noticed a skinny fellow walk up and start talking with one of the other people in the area. I noticed this when the name 'Sibe' was mentioned... I looked, and that's what the badge read, with a blue wolf or husky face.
He even claimed to be Sibe...
This led me to leaving the area, and contacting security, as I was under the impression that he was banned from the con and persona non grata hereabouts.
Later, MUCH later, the truth came out- just a poser trying to use the name for notoriety. Lamer. To wanna be famous for copying a total loser seems... Pathetic. At best.
Other than that, I've gotten a few more sketches, one in the 'What Happens Next' book (what happens after a TF into a roo-morph), on from an artist whose card is currently in the book that DC Rabbit is drawing in, which is the 'whatever' book, and Max BlackRabbit has the Sorien book. Its been a good con so far. :)
Right now, I'm in the room for a bit, typing this after having placed the signs for the Sunday Tea party- it starts at 5:30 PM, and will go til I can't stand it any more. Now I'm off to continue watching the Chicago Bears beat the Carolina Panthers. :)
