It Just Figures.
Jun. 15th, 2010 09:12 amMy gaming machine seems to be dead. I don't know what's wrong, but there IS power but it won't power up. When the power switch is hit on the front of the machine, the little blue LED lights for a moment, but then goes out- nothing else. I don't know what it means, other than I get to dump cash for parts or a new machine.
It was working fine last night, and I powered it down before I went to work- hours before I left actually. It wasn't on when the power went out the other day either, so that's ruled out as well. I've checked all the connections, and there are no signs that the magic smoke escaped. I'm betting at this point that the motherboard finally gave out totally, because if it were the processor it would at least start up.
Any ideas would be appreciated, and if you'd like to come take a look at it
foeclan I'd be appreciative. I can afford a new board if that's all that's wrong, and if its more than that I can probably fake it- next month I'll have some extra cash.
