Weirdness and relatively good news...
Apr. 19th, 2005 11:02 amLast night I decided to go to bed early, as I had the final appointment for my hand today at 9:45. So, I crashed, and soon was in a weird and unpleasant nightmare...
I'm not sure of the location, tho I know it wasn't at home. It was myself and
ataramos, and we were talking about a trip that she'd been on, which she'd apparently just returned from. She had been out exploring 'haunted places' and similar locations. In the dream I was getting creeped out for some reason, even though that stuff rarely bothers me in real life. I said something on the order of "Thats about enough of that, okay?" the talk stopped. In the dream I went to bed, Atara sleeping on the floor as if it were a convention and at a hotel...
As I closed my eyes and started to drift off, I felt SOMETHING next to me, behind me on the bed (I sleep on my side) between me and where Atara was on the floor- I felt hot breath across my ear, and woke with a yell, drawn out by the paralysis that you experience in sleep... I didn't get much sleep after that, and moved back out to curl up in my recliner. :P
I hate fucked-up dreams like that. Its been a LONG time since I had one like this- usually, I can shake them off and go right back to sleep.
Not this time.
On the other bit of news, I went to the last appointment for my hand. NO MORE BRACE! YAY! I'll have to exercise it to get all the strength back, but I've two hands again, officially. :)
