And I'm sick. A week before Midwest FurFest I got a flu shot to help avoid concrud, and from that point til now I've been pounding cranberry juice for the vitamin C to increase my resistance. O well. So much for THAT plan. It seems that getting sick about this time each year is destiny. At least it isn't worse! I'm staying home from work tonight to hopefully get over it.
As to other things, I'm trying to get motivated on various things, like finishing the basement work- notably, being sick hasn't been conducive to the urge to suck plaster dust and paint fumes... ataramos's mattress and box spring upstairs today, something I should have done a while ago. But with khirsahdrgn's help, it went fast. It actually fit up the stairs, and we didn't have to go out the garage and up the back steps, like I was afraid we'd have to!
And the last bit of truly relevent news- The account I work for as a guard is going poof on the 7th of this month. I just found out today. So, I have no idea where I'll be working after that, just that I WILL be working, fortunately. Apparently Welsh (They own the buildings) decided, due to some major screwup on another one of their properties, to dump ASC in favor of GSSC for security. There is a SLIM chance we'll not lose my account, but its not likely. I'll prolly still be night shift, but the days might change. Whee.
