Saturday- Godawful early again...
Nov. 18th, 2006 05:20 amYesterday the con got into full swing, with the majority of things opening between noon and 3 PM. I had breakfast with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
joshuwain and yapped about gaming afterwards, then wandered about meeting people. One bit of a surprise was that, at least for a day, skye_bluedeer actually showed up! Initially he wasn't going to show up at all due to work, but he decided to at least make an appearance. He had lunch with me and we discussed politics and his coming business venture. :)
By about 3 PM I was getting pretty exhausted, so after swinging through the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley I went up and napped... Or rather, went into a coma until about 8. I got back up and wandered a bit more, had a late dinner withnemetfox, then went back to the room around 10:30. My initial plan had been to futz on the internet a bit, but I was really still beat; so back to bed. One quick note- the con has killed 2 of the three elevators. O.o The repairmen should be here to fix at least one of them today.
Naturally, I woke up early. 4 AM early. Bleah. So here I am trying to be at least somewhat quiet and not disturbkhirsahdrgn and feezlekhan... Steve crashed about the same time I did, and he's up early too- Right now he's in the shower, and I suspect he'll be going down to work out in a bit.
As for me, I'll prolly go on FM and AIM for a bit, then shower before going down for breakfast.
