I've been reading...

A book that Scotty loaned me- 'The Art of War For Writers' by James Scott Bell. VERY good and quite useful for a beginning writer like me. I've gone through it once, and I'm most of the way through a second reading. I plan to go through it at least one more time before I return it, and I think I need to get a copy for myself as well. Some of the exercises gave me an idea for a scene which I wrote out, but I'll be damned if I know what I'm gonna do with it.

The novel-prep continues, but I've been pretty stalled since I got sick. Basically, I think I need a brainstorming session to bounce ideas with someone to get enough to start. I wanna know what's going on before I start this time so I can pace things right!

Lastly, I'm likely to get the Desert World writeup done in the next few days, worst case Saturday morning when I'm working overtime. That's about all that's going on now, other than me slowly recovering from being sick.
