The Other Shoe...

Well, I had my little meeting at the office today, and I was right- they thought I was sleeping on-shift the night that the food poisoning started to hammer me. The accepted my explanation too, so no biggie. However, the client doesn't want me on the account anymore, so I'll be going to a different one. That both sucks and is a good thing. On the bad side I have to learn a new account and they didn't have any openings immediately. On the GOOD side there are very few accounts out there with MORE walking than this one, so pretty much no matter what my legs will get a break.

Something else that is good news- The three days I missed last week. I WILL get paid for them as vacation days. I opted to take all this week as vacation too, which will give them more time to find me a posting. So I have a week more off with pay!

All in all, its a mixed bag, and pretty much what I expected. I HAD hoped the client wasn't going to be a fucktard, but O well.

So I get to relax. I have to say I need it.

Afraid not- that was decided a long time ago though. I can't take the insane walking at AC, and the lack of decent food-sources and such, plus the costs, cut that con out of my planning. I just go to MFF (Midwest FurFest) these days.

ah - ok - decent food there - really? Well I guess I like the good chinese resturant - and I can eat there every meal and still love it! - Bringing your own food is good to! I do/did.

I'm doing some relaxing, myself.

Tonight will be grilled sausage with heirloom tomato and bleu cheese with a side of grilled asparagus in a pinenut butter sauce and maybe some garlic toast with a side salad.
