Despite my hopes otherwise, its the motherboard that's crapped out this time. For General Nanosystems to to install a new board and do all the related software crap it'll be right about $100. I can swing that, I'm just tired of shit going wrong. A new board would have to be able to handle my old setup because I simply can't afford more than the C-note for the repair at this time. As the price for a 500-gig drive is about $50, I might talk to the folks about upgrading that soon too- 160 gigs is kinda dinky, especially with all the games we're dumping onto this thing.
