Laptop Follies...
Apr. 15th, 2009 09:08 amWell, last night the laptop decided that it didn't want to connect to the two wireless points in the house. It WOULD connect to the Minneapolis wireless, but not ours. I airblasted out the dust and crime, reseated the airport card and rebooted, even did a total powerdown by removing the battery. Nada. Fast forward to today. I find out from
mirrdae that the second of our two wireless routers is also our DNS server. He tells me to reboot it, and I do... But no go. Then I get it in my head to do the same with the main wireless- And its working! Yay!
So, the laptop lives a while longer. However, I suspect that our Netgear wireless point may be starting to croak. O well, its cheaper to replace than a laptop. :)
