Spaz is once again living up to his name. Not only has he now developed the... LOVELY habit of nightly digging through the trash in my bedroom wastebasket and spreading it around, he has now fucked up my Christmas tree, flattening three of the lowest branches to the floor so he can sleep there. I have to figure out a way to straighten the branches and reinforce them so the little moron can't do it anymore. Right now, he's spending quality time in his carrier so I don't murder him.

This on top of jumping on Lady at every chance.

I really do love him, but geez, he sometimes makes it hard.

Live tree?

Just cut off the branches and keep them under the tree for Spaz to sleep on. He most likely likes the earthy smell of the needles.

Fake, and has occasionally threatened to become a Valentine's tree. :D

If nothing else Mike, maybe take those bottom branches off all together, if it doesnt look too weird.

I doubt you can take those fake branches off. Depends on how it was built.

That said, see about getting some pine needles that Spaz could like.

And ONE year I think it was till up in April. ;)

Taking the bottom ones off... I COULD, but I think it'd look weird. I'm gonna get some heavy-gauge wire to reinforce them (its just the three branches that point towards the partition doorway to the kitchen) and some green twine to create support. Its a pain in the ass is all.
