Well, I picked up my new glasses today. I'm not totally sure the prescription is right, but it could just be my eyes adjusting so I'm giving it a few days. I do think I'll have to have the bridge pads adjusted as they're a bit on the uncomfortable side, but I think the frames look okay.

They're a LOT lighter than the old ones too, and I have two pairs so if something stupid happens I have backups!

On the subject of the refinancing of the house- I got nothing. I've been trying to reach him by phone for two days and I've yet to get a call-back. I'll be calling again this morning and hopefully I'll find something out.

Also, after I get my current bills paid off I think I'm going to go in and have my neck looked at again- its been aching pretty consistently for more than a week, and its a bit worrisome.

Well, Mom decided that since she was getting new glasses that I should too. As I've not had an eye appointment in about a decade or so, this sounded like a good idea. So, today at 11:30 AM I'll be getting my eyes checked and will likely be getting fitted with new glasses. It'll be nice to see the world without scratches...

So I should be screwed visually all afternoon, as those damn drops just don't wanna wear off with me. Fortunately, I'll be asleep. :)
